The pivotal moment in his life was when he met his wife, Helen Palmer, when he was a student in England. They were married in 1927. She also was a children's author.

His advirsity was the fact that he was a was a writer of children's books. He also didnt do too well in school or as a school teacher.

Theodor Seuss Geisel (Dr. Seuss) was born in Massachusetts in 1904. His father, Theodor Robert, was a professional brewer and his mother, Henrietta Seuss Geisel, read to him everynight. He contributes his ability to write to his mom. He had no brothers or sisters.
